PRE-REQUISITE: Essentials Film and TV Introductory & Intermediate Courses as well as instructor interview/approval. Professional degree, training, or equivalent experience.
Fine School of Acting (Melbourne) working personally with Will Smith, Hugh Jackman and Chris Pine's private coaches as well as completing her study at the Company of Rogues in Canada.
This training has enabled her to further her already honed casting skills into a fresh and highly specialised approach to casting, acting for the screen, and the audition process for Actors. Lou is already running these workshops across Australia and is excited to now bring them to local Adelaide actors.

This advanced course is aimed at trained &/or highly experienced actors looking to hone their skills, harness a deeper relationship with the craft and and reawaken
. This demanding course is not for designed as a casual approach to continuous training. Actors are required to do extemnded homework and reading of course material so that we can truly we dive deep into the craft, the world of the writer and rediscover our primal way of behaviour and being.

Dramatic Structure
Week by week we will focus on a particular tool or skill in relation to technique, addressing on the principals of ‘moment to moment’ work, circles of attention, obligatory moment, exploring realism on the screen as opposed to naturalism. We will work on Scene Analysis, a Meisner Workout, Practical Aesthetics techniques, Backstory and Character research, turning Psychology into Behaviour, your Imagination, the importance of Subtext, Emotional Events, Observations and Adjustments, Rehearsal Principals and Techniques.
