About This Course.

AUDITION FITNESS Nothing is more important to an actor than having their skills sharp with a healthy sense of confidence in the abilities and choices.


Audition Fitness is a course that allows an actor to train their skills, practice taking direction, review and have their screen test critiqued within a two hour session. Each week an actor will be required to prepare and deliver a short screen test under audition conditions.


Much like a professional athlete, professional actors need to practice, discover and evolve their skills through both training and practice auditions in order to make the most out of industry opportunities.


This course is an excellent way to receive coaching on the skills necessary to efficiently gather information needed to give your best delivery and prevent self-sabotage.


Don Kountouris

Since graduating from NIDA with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting, Don has worked extensively in film and TV. He has starred in TV series' 'The Informant', 'Packed to the Rafters', 'All Saints', 'Home & Away', and more, the feature film 'Being in Heaven' (selected for Singapore International Film Festival), and in the Steven Spielberg Production 'Terra Nova' 2013. Don has toured the country teaching for both NIDA & the Actors Centre Australia as a film and television coach since 2008.
