Angela's Five Quick Tips for Actors Auditioning
There are some really easy things Actors can remind themselves of when preparing for an audition. After teaching at the Rehearsal Room, here's some of the students favourite tips from Angela 1.) It's not what's on the page that gets you the job. It's what you bring to it and do with it.
2.) In the audition room, the second run of the scene is a license to play.
3.) When you enter the audition room, remeber you are entering a partnership with the
Casting Director. It's has to be a team effort.
4.) Ask the Reader for what you need.
5.) Actors do have to remember lines but in the process of doing that, don't lose who you
are when serving the dialogue.
